Half-length under-kimono (hanjuban) with detachable collar, sleeveless, pink fabric with lace embroidery, lace embroidered half-collar
This hanjuban (under-kimono slip) was handmade from unused lace embroidery fabric. The body and collar are machine-sewn, with no back seam. Shoulder openings are rounded. The shoulder opening extends slightly towards the back, so the front won't become too short even when the collar is pulled back. As it is made of lace fabric, small shoulder pads have been added. The color in the photos appears whitish pink, but it is actually a bit more pink. Although unused, there are slight storage marks that are barely noticeable. The haneri (half-collar) is hand-sewn and removable. It comes with a haneri made of the same lace embroidery fabric as the body. It has been pre-washed. It can be washed directly in a washing machine. The collar is made of firm, specially woven white cotton fabric with fusible interfacing applied throughout the back for structure. However, a collar stiffener (erishin) may be desired. An erinuki (collar loop) is also included, allowing you to adjust the nape of the neck. It features two levels of cord channels for adjustable nape depth. (This is a commercially available component.) The sides are not sewn. The length is standard, likely fitting a size M. Length: Approx. 58.5 cm Shoulder width: Approx. 35.5 cm Body: Lace embroidery fabric (likely cotton, but 100% cotton is unconfirmed) Collar lining: 100% cotton (new white cotton fabric with fusible interfacing applied throughout) Haneri: Same lace embroidery fabric as the body I am also selling other items related to usotsuki-eri (detachable collars) and Japanese clothing.
