This is a USB-MIDI conversion box.
It was purchased new as a spare and kept in storage. I am listing it because I realized it wouldn't integrate well into my system before I had a chance to use it.
Included accessories: Main unit, included USB cable, instruction manual, and other documents.
●Some devices with USB ports may only be equipped with them for firmware updates and may not output MIDI signals. Please check the specifications of the USB port on the device you are connecting for details.
●There have been reports of cases where this unit cannot be used even when connecting via MIDI signals output from the connected USB port, especially when using proprietary code. Please check the specifications of the device you are connecting before purchasing.
●When connecting a MIDI keyboard that only has a USB port, please check whether the MIDI keyboard outputs MIDI signals from its USB port or if special settings are required for output.
Please refer to the manual of the device you are connecting or information from each manufacturer for details.
●USB MIDI HOST does not support connection with devices that require drivers. When using, please confirm that the connected device is a USB Class Compliant product (a device that does not require drivers for connection).
●HUBs cannot be used.
You cannot connect USB-MIDI devices using a HUB to the HOST port (USB-A port) of the HOST.
Please be sure to use a USB-A to USB-B cable to connect USB-MIDI devices directly.
●Cannot be used with devices that have a built-in HUB function.
(Example: KORG microKEY37 and 61, etc.)
Please note that some USB-MIDI devices with built-in HUB functions (e.g., KORG microKEY37 and 61, etc.) cannot be used with the USB-HOST for the reasons mentioned above.
*It can be used with the USB-A port (microKEY2 series, which do not have a HUB function, can be used).
