Telechron 8H57 Lite-Call Alarm Clock Lamp Control 1940s Working
A 1940s Telechron Lite-Call alarm clock with an ivory case, warm brass-tone dial surround, and burgundy accents. The stepped case and oversized numerals give it a distinctly early midcentury look. The clever Lite-Call feature was designed as a gentler wake-up alarm: a bedside lamp could be connected to the clock and would begin flashing at the set time, with the option of an audible alarm to follow. Dimensions: Approximately 4 3/4 wide x 4 1/2 high. Good vintage condition with expected surface wear, scratches, and marks from age and use. The clock is working. The wiring has been altered at some point and looks unconventional, as shown in the photos. This clock came from the estate of a clock repairman, but the nature or age of the wiring work is unknown. The lamp function has not been tested. At COMAC Collection, each piece is selected for its craftsmanship, design, and enduring character. Vintage objects naturally show signs of age and use, and any notable condition details are described and photographed as accurately as possible. All items come from a smoke-free home.
