N/A Vintage Set Of 4 Ceramic United States Navy Double Egg Cups

This set of 4 vintage ceramic United States Navy double egg cups are a fun find! Featuring the Navy’s traditional colors-blue representing the ocean and seas, and gold for integrity and valor. The gold paint is bright, vibrant and intact. Two of the egg cups have a thin gold band on the small end, and two of them do not. Double egg cups became very popular in the 1930’s. The small end was used to serve the egg, and the large end could hold the chopped egg, mixed with salt and pepper, then eaten with a spoon or fork. These double egg cups are approximately 4 inches tall and 2 3/4 inches in diameter at the top and 2 1/4 inches in diameter at the bottom. Please note-one of the egg cups has what appears to be a manufacturers defect. I cannot get a fingernail under it and believe it is not a crack. Please see photos. These vintage ceramic double egg cups are in excellent condition with no chips, breaks or repairs.
