Tokyo Marui S&W M645 Airsoft Gun Toy Gun Handgun

Stored at home for nearly 30 years.
It has been used very few times and is in beautiful condition, but upon checking the operation, the magazine spring is not locking, and BBs cannot be loaded properly.
There is also a rattling sound from the main body, which may indicate a BB jam.
I am a complete novice when it comes to airsoft guns and don't know much, so I cannot determine if it is easily repairable. Would this be suitable for someone who can repair it, or for a collection?
