Rare Uyghur Ethnic Musical Instrument, Fushitar (Fushital) with Bow and Hard Case

This is a traditional bowed instrument from the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of China, called the Fuxital.
It is an instrument with a relatively recent history, restored in the 1970s. While it has a violin-like shape, it is characterized by the delicate and exotic sound unique to Uyghur music.
With intricate inlay work all over and bird-like carvings on the head, this is a piece of exceptionally high quality as a craftwork.

■Product Condition
・Body: There are minor scratches and dirt due to age, but no major cracks are visible, and the decorations are in relatively good condition.
・Bow: Included, but the horsehair (strings) is broken, so maintenance such as rehairing is required if you intend to play it. Research online suggests that a violin bow can be used.
・Case: Comes with a dedicated hard case. There is considerable dirt throughout due to age and storage. Two of the feet on the bottom are missing.
・Strings: Sold as-is. Tuning and replacement of consumables are the responsibility of the buyer.
