【Unused】Kaba-zaiku Cherry Bark Craft Keyaki Single-ply Cornered Tray Set (Large & Small) - Confectionery Tray, Serving Tray, Tray
This is a tray made of Kabazaiku (cherry bark craft), a traditional craft from Kakunodate, Akita.
It is made from a single piece of zelkova wood, with a plum blossom motif as a focal point, and features a stylish design with the top right corner bent.
The simple and elegant design makes it perfect for displaying sweets, food, accessories, or anything else you wish to place on it.
As it is Kabazaiku, natural cherry bark is used for the plum blossom and the bent part on the top right.
Although it has been stored for a long time, the surface is in beautiful condition with no noticeable dirt or scratches.
The back has no major scratches, but it is fully painted and scratches are more noticeable compared to the front, with minor scuffs and scratches visible.
Also, as it is a natural wood board, there are cracks in the paint due to expansion and contraction over time. (The board itself is not cracked.)
Additionally, there is a faint water-like stain on the back of the smaller tray that is visible when held up to the light.
I have kept it stored in its box and do not recall ever getting it wet, so it is unclear whether it was present from the beginning or due to aging.
Please understand this.
The outer box is also slightly dented from storage.
While it is in relatively good condition, please understand that it is a long-term storage item before purchasing.
Although it is an unused item and in relatively good condition, it is listed as Slightly scratched or dirty considering the above condition and that it is a long-term storage item.
Please forgive any overlooked scratches, dirt, age-related deterioration, or differences in perception, as this is a long-term home storage item and has been inspected by an amateur.
