Beautiful vintage pair of stained glass wall candle sconces featuring pink roses, green leaves and creamy ivory slag-style glass set within dark leading. Each faceted stained glass shade is mounted to an ornate cast metal backplate with a scrolling arm and contains an interior cup designed to hold a votive-size candle. When illuminated, the creamy glass shifts from soft ivory to warm amber while the pink rose and green leaf details glow beautifully. These are candle sconces and are not wired or electric. Marked MADE IN CHINA on the backs. Their design has Victorian Revival, Art Nouveau and Tiffany-inspired influence and would be especially attractive flanking a mirror, artwork or doorway. Condition: Very good vintage condition. Stained glass is beautifully preserved overall with natural variation in the glass and leading. Metal shows aged patina, oxidation, surface wear and finish variation. Interior cups show evidence of previous candle use. No major damage observed. Please review photos carefully.
