ACAS Vintage ACAS San Marino Pottery Pitcher Mug Ricordo di Gaeta Smalto Roccia MCM

Up for sale is a stunning, authentic mid-century modern art pottery souvenir pitcher/mug crafted by the renowned workshop ACAS in the Republic of San Marino. This vintage 1960s piece features the iconic Italian Smalto Roccia (rock/crater glaze) style, a heavily textured black and white lava finish that beautifully contrasts with a glossy red framed panel and a striking teal-green interior. The front panel features a hand-incised sgraffito illustration of an historic church building, inscribed with Ricordo di Gaeta (Souvenir of Gaeta, Italy). The bottom retains its crisp, authentic factory stamp reading: ACAS Rep. S. Marino. Very good vintage condition. The interior teal glaze exhibits cosmetic crazing (fine surface-level hairline glaze lines) consistent with age, but these are entirely on the surface and do not go through the ceramic body. There are no structural cracks, chips, or repairs. The exterior textured lava glaze retains its original rough texture. Please review all close-up photos to verify.
