●2024 Gibson Custom Shop 1968 LP Custom VOS
Set of genuine knobs removed from an ebony fingerboard.
●I am selling many parts as I have sold 19 Custom Shop 1957, 1958, and 1959 LPs. Thank you for your consideration.
●Upon listing, I have confirmed that all knobs fit perfectly onto inch pots.
●The pots used for installation confirmation in the last image are not included.
●Purchased new at the end of the year, replaced with different knobs, and then stored in a hard case. These are in excellent condition.
●Although removed and stored in a hard case, there may be minor scuffs or small scratches. As this is a VOS model, these should not be noticeable.
●There are no printing misalignments, which are common with aftermarket parts or Historic Collection models.
●The lettering and plates are gold (a light champagne gold).
●Sombrero knobs with engraved numbers and embossed backs are not sold as aftermarket parts.
These are non-sale items not sold individually even as Gibson Historic parts, making them very rare.
●Even among aftermarket parts, there are no highly accurate replicas of Sombrero knobs, making them very rare and difficult to obtain.
●These are for inch pots only. When using on Japanese guitars, please confirm whether the pots are inch or metric.
●The 68 Custom models from late 2013 onwards have a high degree of accuracy, but how about using them for dress-up purposes, such as converting earlier 68 Customs or regular series models to Historic Collection specifications?
