Used with M3 MacBook Air.

Plugable USB-C Graphics Adapter for Apple Silicon (M1, M2, M3 chips, etc.) Macs - Dual 4K@60Hz HDMI Display Connection DisplayLink

Easily Connect 2 x 4K Monitors
We know that using multiple displays in your PC work environment greatly improves productivity. This Plugable USB-C 4K HDMI Dual Display Graphics Adapter (USBC-6950M) is designed to help improve productivity by allowing you to use multiple external monitor connections even on base model M1, M2, and M3 Apple Silicon systems that do not support multiple external monitor connections. Of course, this USBC-HDMI graphics adapter can also be used with Windows 10 or later and ChromeOS 100 or later computers.

This graphics adapter supports dual monitors and is implemented with the long-proven DisplayLink DL-6950 chipset. You will need to download and install the DisplayLink driver once, but once your environment is set up, you will be able to experience the benefits of this multi-HDMI adapter (on Windows PCs, the device driver is automatically installed by Windows Update). This adapter allows you to add two HDMI monitors to a single Thunderbolt, USB4, or USB-C port. Even on Mac systems that are limited to one external monitor connection, you can add up to two 4K HDMI monitors thanks to the functionality of the DisplayLink chip.
