How to Use
1: Scrape the magnesium stick with the ignition plate over something flammable like untwisted hemp string, tissue paper, or dry leaves.
2: It becomes easier to ignite if you gather the scraped magnesium powder.
3: Sparks will fly and ignite when you rub the plate strongly against the stick. (The trick is to firmly hold the rod over the magnesium powder and create sparks.)
4: Once you have an ember, gradually build the flame by adding newspaper or small pieces of firewood.
