Women's Figure Skates - White - Leather

About 30 years ago, I attended a women's skating class in Edogawa Ward, Tokyo, which was advertised by the ward. I couldn't skate as well as I wanted with the flimsy rental skates, and the rental fees added up, so I considered buying a pair of skates displayed at the rink for ¥20,000. When I consulted my coach, he advised me, It's better not to buy those kinds of skates. Instead, he recommended a specialty store in the basement of Tokyo Dome City, where I bought skates for about ¥60,000 (at the time, consumption tax was 5%, so probably ¥63,000) that all the students in the class were wearing. My coach was a former Olympic speed skater and apparently taught skating to the Imperial Family. After researching various things for this Mercari listing, it appears these are custom Ota Skates (there's a stamped logo of a skate on the sole, and I can faintly read c and ta). Ota Skates seems to be a shop favored by professional skaters, and indeed, the leather around the ankle was firm, allowing me to immediately start cross-skating. In the end, I only took about 10 one-hour lessons before I was transferred to another location, and I kept the skates stored without wearing them since then. I hope they can be useful for someone starting figure skating as practice skates.

The leather parts are firm and in good condition, and I don't see any chips on the blade teeth. However, please be aware that as these are quite old skates, the urethane on the underside of the tongue has deteriorated and is peeling off. Please understand this point.
