This rustic, wine-country style ceramic dinner plate features an all-over, continuous transferware design of dense grape clusters, twining vines, and heavily textured leaves. The illustration is executed in a rich cobalt or purplish-blue ink over a creamy white glaze background. Handcrafted in Italy primarily during the 1990s, these durable earthenware pieces feature a thick, chunky profile with a glossy protective finish. They were widely popularized in the United States through distributions by Crate & Barrel and are frequently found stamped on the reverse with the Ceramica Quadrifoglio maker's mark. Excellent condition with the exception of one small blue line and one dot in the back of the plate. Please see photos for details.
