This is a kimono fabric from Katagai cotton, woven by Konjin Kobo in Ojiya City, Niigata Prefecture.

The stripes are woven in a striking color combination of subdued blue and brown tones.
You can wear it with a chic mood.

The textured fabric provides a smooth and comfortable feel. It can be washed at home, and the thick warp threads act like a backbone, allowing the threads to return to their original position, making it resistant to losing its shape and less prone to wrinkles.

Be sure to water treat it and calculate shrinkage before tailoring.
