Junk ESP Guitar Neck
Neck from an ESP The Mirage Deluxe.
This is being sold as junk. Please read the product description below carefully and purchase only if you understand. There may be some inaccuracies due to its age, and all sales are final (no claims, no returns).
Maple 3-piece neck
Ebony fingerboard
22 frets
Fender scale
As far as I can tell, there is no obvious warping.
The truss rod is functional.
Includes GOTOH tuners.
It appears to have originally had a Floyd Rose-style locking nut, but it has been modified.
It currently has a brass nut.
A piece of rosewood has been shaped and glued to hold the nut in place.
No rod cover.
Screw holes where the string tree was likely located have been filled.
The binding is peeling off.
The finish on the back of the neck was removed and then coated with a natural paint called Kakishibu (persimmon tannin).
There is a slight unevenness at the joint of the maple wood on the back of the neck, but it should be smoothable with sanding.
The frets are slightly worn but still usable. There is no fret lifting.
Would be great for DIY guitar building or as a restoration project! We cannot accept returns or answer questions after purchase, so please ask any questions before buying. Thank you.
