N/A Ps2 Playstation 2 fat with controllers

I have a ps2 fat with hdmi adapter and memory card for sale. The ps2 turns on but when I plug in the adapter it does not show up on the tv. I am not sure what all is wrong with it so it is being sold as is for parts no returns consider it broken.
