Unlined Kimono Fabric, New, Unfinished, Pure Silk Nishijin-ori Omeshi Kimono Fabric [Proof of Omeshi Loom] Width approx. 38.4 cm. Length approx. 12.5 m. This is an Omeshi woven in Nishijin. Its formal name is Omeshi Chirimen, and it is a pre-dyed Chirimen fabric woven using threads that have been pre-scoured and dyed. It is said to have been named because Tokugawa 11th Shogun Ienari favored wearing it.
