【Beautiful Condition】Fan-shaped Tray, Vermilion Lacquer, Fan-shaped Tray, Lacquerware, Tea Ceremony Utensil, Dried Sweets Tray, Lucky Charm, New Year

Thank you for viewing.
This is a large, fan-shaped tray (sensen-bon) with a beautiful, glossy vermilion lacquer finish.

The fan shape, widening towards the end, has been considered a very auspicious form since ancient times, symbolizing prosperity and good fortune.
This item measures approximately 42.5cm in width, making it slightly larger than a typical tray and giving it a significant presence.

It is perfect for serving dry sweets at tea ceremonies, as well as for presenting appetizers (hassun) in kaiseki dining. It also looks stunning when used as a single-person oshiki (placemat) to arrange dishes.
The high-quality texture, through which the wood grain subtly shows, is recommended not only for Japanese-style spaces but also as a decorative stand for modern interiors.
