This is a square document box (letter box) featuring Ouchi-nuri, a traditional craft from Yamaguchi Prefecture. It is a highly elegant item, adorned with the traditional Ouchi-bishi pattern and autumn grass maki-e (lacquer inlay) on a deep Ouchi-red base.

It can be used not only for storing documents and letters but also as a box for keeping accessories, sewing supplies, or cherished mementos.

[Condition]
- There is a slight dirt (cloudiness) on the surface of the lid, visible depending on the light (please refer to photos 8 and 9).
- There are minor scuff marks on the corners and the back.
- The interior is in relatively clean condition, with no peeling of the lacquer.
