Mizusashi Replacement Lid, Ichimonji Lid, 3.5 inch diameter, Tea Ceremony Utensil, Shin-nuri
Tea Ceremony Utensil - Mizusashi Replacement Lid, 3.5 inches, Black
This is a lacquered wooden Ichimonji lid.
Comes with a paper box.
Size: Outer diameter approx. 10.6 cm / Inner circle diameter approx. 8.7 cm
*Please allow for slight errors due to amateur measurements.
I received this item from my mother, who used to study the tea ceremony (Urasenke).
I do not study the tea ceremony, so I am not familiar with the details.
I believe this would be good as a spare lid for a mizusashi for practice or everyday use.
I would be happy if someone could make use of it.
As it is a used item, there is some sign of use from normal handling, but to my amateur eye, there are no particularly noticeable scratches or chips, and it appears to be a clean item.
It may even be unused.
It has been stored in its box in a place away from direct sunlight at home.
According to a note on the original box, it was purchased in 1966 (Showa 41).
*Please note that there are notes from that time on the front and back of the box, but it will be sold as-is.
We ask that only those who understand that this is a long-term stored, used item and can judge from the photos, and who understand these conditions, make a purchase.
Those who are sensitive or are looking for a beautiful or new item, please refrain from purchasing.
Also, the color of the product may appear slightly different from the actual color due to your monitor, screen environment, etc.
Thank you for your understanding.
