【Tea Ceremony Utensil】 Phoenix Maki-e Teoke Mizusashi (Bucket-shaped Water Container) Wajima, Ichinori Yachi (Shiko) with Original Box 6R1180A
This is a gorgeous hand-pail shaped mizusashi (freshwater container for tea ceremony) created by Kazuhiro Yachi, a renowned Wajima-nuri lacquerware artist.
The phoenix design, adorned with gold maki-e (gold lacquer sprinkled on) and raden (mother-of-pearl inlay), emits an elegant radiance, making it a striking piece for ceremonies like hatsugama (first tea ceremony of the year) or celebratory tea gatherings.
We believe it would also make a wonderful gift for those overseas, showcasing the beauty of Japanese tradition and craftsmanship.
