Kimono Remake Skirt Petticoat - Handmade - Length 65cm, Waist 70cm (Adjustable)

US Size:

This is a petticoat made from unused *habutae* silk, originally used for kimono lining. It features a single slit approximately 33cm long.

I love kimono remake skirts, and I own several. However, they don't have linings, which makes me feel a bit uneasy. When wearing a formal kimono, it has a lining, and you also wear a *nagajuban* (under-kimono) and *hadajuban* (slip). This made me think a petticoat made from kimono lining would be perfect, so I decided to make one.

This is a handmade item by an amateur, made on a whim. The reason for the high price, despite my lack of skill, is the difficulty I encountered working with satin fabric due to my inexperience.

For those who would prefer to make their own, I am also offering the fabric for one skirt as a separate listing, so please consider that as well.

A white satin slip with a light and comfortable feel.
