The collaboration between LOWA and AFFXWRKS is an attempt to reinterpret tactical boots, developed for military and professionals, within the context of AFFX.
LOWA's Task Force Series are high-performance models made for the military and police. Among them, the Zephyr Series excels in durability and mobility and has been adopted by US Army Special Forces and the German Federal Armed Forces.
In this collaboration, AFFXWRKS has reconstructed these professional-grade LOWA shoes. By adding minimal details such as lace covers, they have elevated the military functionality to a silhouette that fits everyday wear.

AFFX WRKS was founded by Kiko Kostadinov, Taro Ray, Stephen Mann, and Michael Kopelman as a project of the internet radio station Know Wave.
With the concept of New Utility, they are experimentally exploring the fusion of pursuing the ideal form of traditional workwear with practicality as everyday clothing.
The team has now transitioned to be led by Taro Ray, and they develop items that incorporate not only workwear elements but also elements from the music scene.
