Vintage South American Indian Wooden Sculpture of a Figure Holding a Musical Instrument
Vintage!!
This item is over 60 years old, from when my father was stationed in Bolivia, South America.
Motif: Depicts a Native American man (like a Chief) smoking a pipe. Material: Made of wood, finished in a deep brown overall. The hand-carved texture is distinctive, with fine details carved into the hair and headdress. Shape: Comes with a base, making it a freestanding ornament. For interior decoration or display.
The design features a figure with a distinctive headdress (warbonnet) holding a pipe. Similar carvings are traded on antique markets and flea market sites as Indian wood carvings or Native American.
Dark brown wooden carving, ethnic figure holding a musical instrument.
Thank you for looking.
