Handmade Small Sensory Lap Blanket Handmade Fidget Comfort Crochet for Dementia ADHD

This new handmade sensory lap blanket is crafted from tan upcycled yarn with subtle brown flecks, reclaimed from a sweater, double‑washed, and beautifully repurposed. Soft, calming, and tactile, it offers gentle fidget support to help ease restlessness and encourage relaxation or refocusing. Sized perfectly for a wheelchair or lap—short enough to stay on the seat without catching in wheels or extending down the legs. See photos for exact measurements. Rows of smooth brown beads are securely attached within the crochet stitches, creating a soothing contrast between textures. The open‑stitch design allows fingers to knead through the openings, providing quiet sensory input. Corner tassels add an extra touch of comfort for smoothing, straightening, or gentle fidgeting. Made from an acrylic/nylon/wool/angora blend, this blanket is machine washable; lay flat to dry. Because it is handmade and upcycled, each piece is one of a kind, and any small imperfections reflect its handcrafted nature. Ships from a non‑smoking, no‑pet household.
