Ton-sama Traditional Japanese Iko

The item is described as a hand towel rack and box.
As it is an old item, there is some deterioration. Please check the photos carefully.
It is believed to be from the Taisho to early Showa period, but I am not an expert, so please excuse any lack of detail.
