Tennis Ball Pressurizer/Preserver Set of 3 - Free Shipping
This is a container that allows you to store tennis balls under pressure.
- New balls can be used until the felt wears out, making them long-lasting.
- Even balls that have lost air pressure can be restored to their original pressure over time.
You can use a bicycle pump to inflate it.
It uses a car tire valve.
How Tennis Ball Rejuvenation Works
The internal pressure of a new ball is about 1 atm (2 atm absolute pressure). Over time, air (nitrogen) escapes. For rejuvenation, the inside of the container is pressurized to force air back into the ball. It takes about the same amount of time as it has been open to return the ball to its original internal pressure.
We recommend storing the balls immediately after opening the can and using them on the same day. If you store them immediately after each use, their bounce will be maintained indefinitely.
4. How to Use
1) Storing the Balls
① Remove any sand or dirt from the balls and place four balls inside.
② Tighten the lid securely.
③ Pressurize to 1 atm (gauge pressure) using a pump with an Schrader valve and store. Do not exceed 1.4 atm under any circumstances.
2) Opening the Can
① Press the protrusion on the tip of the valve to release the air. You will hear a hissing sound.
② Use a screwdriver or similar tool to open the lid.
* The balls may be difficult to insert or remove. When removing, please hold the container upside down and shake it to release the balls. Please understand this in advance.
* Although the balls are new, they are listed as near unused because they may have been put in the container to check for air leaks.
* Some bicycle pumps with spring-loaded clamps may have difficulty inflating because the clamping part gets in the way. Please be aware of this.
Please read the description before purchasing.
* When carrying the pressurized container to practice, if you accidentally drop it, it may explode and break. We recommend releasing the air before transporting it.
