Mashiko Purchase Solid Wood Desk Low Table Antique Furniture Old Tools Wood

This is a solid wood writing desk purchased from an antique shop in Mashiko, Tochigi Prefecture.
It is said to be furniture from the early Showa period.
This is an atmospheric piece that can be used as a footstool, low table, or display stand.

I purchased it a few years ago for approximately 25,000 yen.
The wood grain is very nice, and it is recommended for those who can enjoy the scratches, color variations, scuffs, and dents characteristic of antique furniture as part of its charm.

The tabletop is not too wide or too narrow, making it a comfortable size for use while sitting on the floor.
I think it would also be suitable as a flower stand, shop fixture, photography prop, or display stand.

The dimensions are approximate.
Width: approx. 80.5 cm
Depth: approx. 44.5 cm
Height: approx. 16.5 cm

Please check the photos for the condition.
It is not in pristine condition like new. We ask that only those who understand antique furniture and old tools purchase this item.
