The world's strongest wood! Lignum Vitae wooden sword!

This is a wooden sword made from Lignum Vitae, boasting the world's highest hardness and weight. You can feel its substantial heft. The finishing process used abrasives to achieve maximum gloss. No varnish or other coatings have been applied. It has a faint aroma. This is a precious wood also known as Green Sandalwood, and its deep green color makes it a truly beautiful item.
We have pursued a shape close to that of a Japanese sword for many years.

It is heavier and thicker than commercially available wooden swords, making it recommended for practice swings.
Due to import restrictions under the Washington Convention, this wood is rarely available on the market. Its high hardness and extreme difficulty in processing mean that it takes a considerable amount of time to produce a single wooden sword.
It changes to a deep green color with UV exposure, but this wooden sword has been exposed to UV light just enough to adjust the color. Our intention is for you to appreciate the inherent beauty of the Lignum Vitae grain.
A thin coat of camellia oil has been applied to prevent drying.
A sword stand is not included.
