Antique Gregorian Chant - Neumes from around the 18th Century (with bonus frame)
Although it is very simple, I had a frame that could fit the music, so I have framed it simply. Please forgive the fact that it is a used frame with some dirt and scratches, and that the framing is done by an amateur.
This is a Neuma notation of Gregorian chant, believed to date from around the 18th century. Due to its age, there are tears and stains, but it was likely cherished and used in prayer.
I believe that by framing it and displaying it, you can feel the atmosphere of Europe at that time.
As far as I have personally researched, I have found notations of chants similar to the ones at the end. I think it would be fun to research this further as a reference.
This is a wonderful antique that is significant in terms of European faith, culture, and the history of music. If you are interested, please consider it.
Height: approx. 46.5 cm
Width: approx. 30.5 cm

The Lord's right hand has done valiantly, the Lord's right hand has exalted me. I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.

Dominus regnavit, exultet terra: laetentur insulae multae.
Gloria
Japanese Translation
The Lord has reigned, let the earth rejoice: let the many islands be glad.
