Beautiful condition, artist name included. Italian frame. Austrian Johann Strauss II commemorative statue, print.

This is a truly beautiful print, framed in Italy. It's a print of the Johann Strauss II memorial statue in Austria, and I purchased it at a framing specialty store in Tokyo because I really liked the frame. The luxurious gold and bronze-toned frame with its wavy pattern complements the dark brown tones of the print, enhancing its appeal.

The print depicts the memorial statue of composer and conductor Johann Strauss II, known as the Waltz King, which is located in the City Park (Stadtpark) in Vienna, Austria. The statue of Strauss playing the violin is surrounded by a white arched monument created by sculptor Edmund von Hellmer. The actual statue gleams in gold and is one of Vienna's iconic landmarks.

It is believed to be a colored etching (copperplate print).
The artist is likely Khosrow Salehi.
WIEN-STRAUSSDENKMAL in the lower left corner of the print means Vienna Strauss Monument in German.
It has been displayed occasionally and is in very beautiful condition. It does not come with a hanging bracket for the frame, but it does include a plastic stand for display.
Highly recommended for classical music lovers and Strauss fans.
