In 2020, as a new approach to footwear, Mizuno focused on the traditional Japanese footwear, Setta. While retaining its original shape, the SETTA C/6 model was developed with the latest technology to significantly improve comfort.

This model features carbon fiber reinforced plastic inside the Setta insole. By molding an arch shape with a raised toe and lowered midfoot, it achieves a unique rolling sensation and elastic comfort. The footbed is made of a cool, linen-like woven fabric, and the midsole uses low-rebound foamed urethane. The tip of the thong strap, the sakkyo, is treated with a brushed polyester PU finish for a soft feel and to prevent discomfort. The outsole, made of cork, features the Yamato Kobo and Mizuno logos as proof of their collaboration. This is a unique Mizuno item where Japanese tradition and technology meet.
