This is the Aka Mugen (Red Infinite) model from Nihon Kendogu Seisakusho, a world competition model.
It is very lightweight and practical for actual combat, yet the goban-zashi (checkerboard stitching) gives it a luxurious feel.

The palm lining is a navy ultrasuede, reminiscent of the Metropolitan Police Department's style.
