This item was a gift to my family about 30-40 years ago when they were invited to China for business.
It is a two-page spread book of rubbings taken from a stele preserved at the Stele Forest Museum in Xi'an, China. It is beautifully mounted on 25 double-page spreads (50 pages) of backing paper. It has been carefully stored deep in a shelf and is in almost new condition. The outer box has a magnetic closure.
While I don't know the specifics, both the binding fabric and the paper quality of the main body are very impressive and beautiful.

Please note that the outer box has some minor scuffs and wear on the edges (upper right corner) due to age.
