XEPAN Vintage XEPAN Mexican Repoussé Picture Frame Mixed Metal 16"

Beautiful vintage handmade picture frame crafted in Mexico, featuring an ornate repoussé floral and scroll design with a rich silver-tone finish. This substantial piece is exceptionally heavy for its size, boasting an intricate embossed metalwork motif by the documented maker XEPAN. The inner border surrounds a classic 5 x 7 opening, making it perfect for displaying family photos, wedding portraits, or artwork, while the overall frame makes a dramatic statement at 16 inches tall. The reverse features a solid wood panel back with an integrated, sturdy wood easel stand for secure vertical tabletop display. Includes the original blue Hecho en México eagle export sticker on the backing. Please note: This is a beautiful decorative mixed-metal/heavy aluminum alloy frame from the mid-20th-century Mexican artisan trade, not solid sterling silver.
