Each steel plate is calibrated to a strict tolerance of just ±10g from its stated weight, ensuring you know exactly how much weight is on your barbell every time. Made from high-quality steel with a sandblasted finish and electroless nickel coating, these plates boast high durability while maintaining a sophisticated appearance.
This premium surface treatment is stronger than typical powder coating or chrome, offering superior wear and stain resistance, making them look less worn even after long-term use. Additionally, REP Fitness's unique beveled edges make them easy to load and unload from the bar and storage.
Their slim profile (thickness ranges from 4.8mm to 23.4mm depending on plate size) allows for over 400kg to be loaded onto the bar, so you won't run out of sleeve space.
The color coding also adheres to IPF standards: red for 25kg, blue for 20kg, yellow for 15kg, green for 10kg, and white for 5kg. Each plate features a laser-etched REP logo that won't fade even with prolonged use. Smaller plates (0.25kg to 2.5kg) come in a standard finish without color coding.
