Deer in the mist

This watercolor-style painting depicts two deer encountered while walking through the marshlands of Mt. Nyukasa with my dog.
The encounter with the deer was a moment of surprise, tension, and pure bliss.
Afterward, the two deer cautiously disappeared separately into the misty forest. As a side note, I found myself inexplicably filled with a sense of gratitude... thank you... My dog, who is usually off-leash on mountain walks, seemed to sense my feelings and quietly watched by my side.
