New, unused, genuine silk, hand-woven Oshima Tsumugi, Nishijin-ori obi set with certificate

■ This item was received as a gift about 20 years ago as a set.

■ The kimono is marked at ¥452,770 (Photo 8).

■ It is said that the set was purchased for approximately ¥1,000,000 at the time. The obi is also a Nishijin-ori fukuro obi (with a gold seal).

It is said to have been tailored for a height of 165cm and a weight of approximately 50kg.

■ It has never been worn. It was stored in a paulownia wood chest.
