This Sha-Tsumu (gauze-pongee) is perfect for a cool and stylish look at summer gatherings such as lunch with friends, dinners, theater or museum visits, summer reunions or casual parties, summer festivals, or strolls. It's also a great choice for your summer wardrobe.

Sha is a weave that is more transparent than Ro (a type of gauze weave), created by intertwining one weft thread with two warp threads. There are patterned Sha weaves and Sha-Tsumu, like this one, which usespongee threads. It can be worn not only in the height of summer in July and August, but also in June and September as a lined kimono (hitoe), by layering a colored undergarment instead of a white one to eliminate transparency and adapt to unpredictable temperature changes.

The green base color evokes a refreshing and pleasant breeze carrying the scent of new greenery. It retains the rustic charm ofpongee while spreading a visually cool transparency. The diamond lattice pattern, reminiscent of water, is arranged with a unique, worn texture, creating a silhouette like a bird spreading its wings and cutting through the wind. From a distance, it gives off an impression of checks or dots, a piece that evokes nostalgia.

There is a small stain on the sleeve, but it is still in beautiful condition.

The hand-sewn tailoring is also a great feature, making it easy to adjust for a comfortable fit that drapes well on the body, allows for easy movement, and can be passed down through generations to be cherished for a long time.
