This is Hita Geta, a traditional craft from Oita Prefecture.
These geta are a pair that boasts beautiful cedar wood grain and meticulous craftsmanship.
They have been stored as new and unused items.
I received them as the grand prize in a raffle at the Hita Products Exhibition.
They are highly recommended not only for pairing with yukata or kimonos for the upcoming season but also as high-quality everyday footwear.

[Product Highlights]
Traditional Technique: The surface of the cedar wood is scorched to bring out the grain, resulting in a luxurious finish.
Health Benefits: The base is shaped like a takefumi (bamboo stepping board), providing a pleasant stimulation to the soles of your feet just by wearing them. As indicated by the sticker, these are healthy geta that care for the soles of your feet, often called the second heart.
Design: The straps feature a calm, classic pattern of hemp leaves and cherry blossoms on a black background, making them easy to match with any yukata or outfit (please see images).
Practicality: The bottom is covered with rubber, making them slip-resistant and reducing the characteristic sound of walking in geta. You can wear them with peace of mind even on modern roads.

[Shipping Information]
The item will be shipped via Yamato Transport using a dedicated compact box for Takkyubin Compact, with measures taken to prevent water damage by placing it in a thin bag.
Due to the exact fit of the box, bubble wrap packaging is difficult. The package will be marked as fragile and no stacking.
Anonymous shipping (Rakuraku Mercari便) will be used.
