When using only the DOUBLE, the bass sound is a bit muddy (though I thought it sounded good enough on its own! lol). But by adding the PB, the sound gains definition and the articulation of each string becomes clear! This is noticeable even at low volumes, so I can imagine how great it will sound at a venue... This is something you can't understand from the promotional comments below~
