This iaido sword has a blade length of almost 2 shaku 5 sun (2 shaku 4 sun 7 bu 5 rin), which is considerably longer than standard! This product is a sword for intermediate to advanced users! Beginners, please exercise extreme caution when using it for iaido!
With a base width of 3.2cm, it is robust! The weight also exceeds 1kg when drawn, giving this sword a very substantial feel! The unadorned and rugged mounting is finished to a standard that justifies its original price of approximately 120,000 yen! This is a top-grade iaido sword suitable for use by instructors!
