Iai Practice Replica Sword
Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki (Sakamoto Ryoma) Replica
Sakamoto Ryoma, a popular figure from the Bakumatsu-Ishin period who shaped modern Japan. He was a true samurai who deeply loved Japanese swords, and Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki was often seen at his waist among his many blades.
This Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki belonging to Sakamoto Ryoma,
After Ryoma's death, the blade extended and the hamon (temper line) disappeared in a fire. However, 100 years after the last polishing,
a fist-shaped choji hamon has reappeared from the straight hamon.
It is currently preserved as an Important Cultural Property at the National Museum.
This iai sword is a replica of that Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki.
Please take this opportunity to add this precious sword to your collection along with the Sakamoto Ryoma explanatory booklet.
* The overall condition is clean, but there are small scuffs and scratches on the saya (scabbard) and blade (refer to image 19). Please purchase with the understanding that this is a used item.
