20 types: Dachshund, Hippopotamus, Owl, Woodpecker, Bear, Squirrel, Lion, Sea Lion, Monkey, Ostrich, Elephant, Rhinoceros, Penguin, Pelican, Mandarin Duck, Deer, Parrot, Kangaroo, Condor, Giraffe
These were sold in the 1960s-70s by Senshukai through a subscription plan where a different animal was sent each month.
It is said that they were handmade one by one by Kokeshi doll craftsmen, using Scandinavian design as a model.
They are no longer manufactured or sold, making them difficult to obtain. As vintage items, a complete set of all 20 types is rare.
They were carefully displayed inside a glass display case, so their texture remains smooth. However, there are some minor scratches and loose screws due to age-related deterioration. Please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for a perfect item. m(_ _)m
